Bakers Eddy will start 2016 with the release of their video Plastic Wasteland at 4.30pm, Thursday 14th January on Radio Hauraki (http://www.hauraki.co.nz/).
Plastic Wasteland is the second single and title track off their debut EP. It is filmed solely on the streets of Wellington and is the work of talented videographer Josh Yong.
Bakers Eddy had a stellar year in 2015, winning New Zealand's Battle of the Bands and consequently touring Europe on a party bus as the prize, gaining radio play on both Radio Hauraki and The Rock with their debut single Something Outside and achieving NZ on Air funding for their next single - to be recorded later this month at Roundhead studios.
They are focused on 2016 being the year they make a significant impact on the music scene both in New Zealand and abroad as they prepare to work with their London producer Asa Bennett and LA based company A and R Worldwide (who have worked with Leisure, Devilskin and Midnight Youth).
