19 year old Wellingtonian musician, Lontalius (Eddie
Johnston) has had his new video Glow debuted by British
music website Dazed
Magazine, alongside an interview where he discusses
internet friendships, emotional intelligence and conveying his sexuality in his
songs. The technicolor clip was shot in his New Zealand and features the
shoreline and lush terrain as background to a romantic triangle. Directed
by Phoebe Gittins and Arty Papageorgiou (Ryan Hemsworth,
Lunice), who also directed the video for previous video All I Wanna
Say, the video uses a saturated palette to paint a picture of three
conflicted twenty-somethings and their longing.

Not the only international media to be paying attention, New York's online
music website, The
FADER recently produced a video feature trailing Eddie on his
first trip to the United States. Set to new track Yr Heart Is
Beating, the footage reflects Lontalius' teenage-like innocence and eagerness for what is
next.

In the short time that he has been making music, Lontalius has racked
up hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube and Soundcloud for his bedroom-pop
remixes and songs; made fans out of fellow New Zealand teens Lorde and Troye Sivan; collaborated
with Ty Dolla $ign and Ryan Hemsworth (including
releasing several tracks on Hemsworth's Secret Songs); and garnered even more
international attention with early press praise from NYLON, Stereogum,
SPIN and more.
