Mid-way through New Zealand Music Month local musicians have hit a new high note with Kiwis heading three of the five Official New Zealand Music Charts.
NZ Idol Ben Lummis goes straight to Number 1 on the singles chart with 'Can't Take that Away' while the Adeaze album 'Always and for Real' reaches top spot in the Top 40 Albums chart. The fact that Ben Lummis and the Adeaze R&B duo Nainz and Viiz Tupa'i were friends 'pre-fame' and all attended the Excel Performing Arts School in Auckland adds an extra dimension to them topping the chart at the same time.
The Official New Zealand Music Chart also sees Rhian Sheehan's second album Tiny Blue Biosphere take out number one in the Heatseekers chart.
