After an almost year long hiatus from the local music scene, Puppeteer Front-man, Rob Sadd, is pleased to introduce his latest solo-project: “Robby Thorne.” Kicking off the upcoming EP with the debut single Quick Whiskey, a fusion of traditional country themes & instruments with the hard hitting /in your face side of hard rock.
“Robby Thorne” is a project that has been in the works since the late 2000s whilst fronting high school Punk & hard rock bands Whitethorne & Acid Rain. It’s about getting back to roots & playing a style that has influenced every project since. The debut single Quick Whiskey deals with having fun in the music scene & causing just a little bit of mayhem along the way. An EP is slated for a mid winter release and is currently under the working title of Thorns & Acid.
Quick Whiskey will be available on iTunes, Spotify & the other major digital mediums over the next couple of weeks with the aforementioned EP to follow later this year. North Island Tour dates in support of these releases are also coming soon.
