To celebrate the release of their debut single The Merchant of Tirau, Skinny Hobos are picking up their bindles and hitting the road, playing 10 dates around New Zealand through April and May with Quinn the Human.
Skinny Hobos’ impressive live show saw them open the show at Demon Energy’s ‘Rock the Park’, taking the stage ahead of New Zealand rock icons Villainy, Blacklistt and Shihad in February 2016. With a show described as nothing short of mesmerising, you’ll wonder how two people can make so much noise. The lead single from their debut album, The Merchant of Tirau arose from sessions at Roundhead Studios with Nick Poortman and perfectly encapsulates the power and grace of Skinny Hobos. Now they take the single, along with their explosive, beard-fuelled show, around the country, hitting 8 cities in 5 weeks including a maiden voyage to Christchurch and Dunedin.
Equal parts style and substance, Auckland progressive rockers Quinn the Human join the Hobos on the road to complete a mystifying and intriguing line-up. Having released their debut EP Good News, Everyone! in 2014, Quinn the Human are back with a slick new single, Gutterfingers, and a polished live set to match which will leave you with no choice but to sway along.
