Pacific Heights today released the highly anticipated album The Stillness via Warner Music NZ. The release follows on from the world first play of the new single, Breath and Bone, on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show earlier this week. The mesmerizing track which features upcoming Wellington musician Deanna Krieg is the latest single to come from The Stillness.
“The idea behind Breath and Bone was of a love that soaked in to the marrow and then left in the space of a breath, a love that for whatever reason was only for a moment” says Devin Abrams (Pacific Heights). “The idea of a fleeting moment being all that that the love was given. This song was the first collaboration between Deanne and I, and I believe it truly captured the essence of our creative forces.”

Pacific Heights is the alias of Wellington based songwriter and producer Devin Abrams. Known for his solo work and the fifteen years he spent as a founding member and songwriter in Shapeshifter, The Stillness is the first Pacific Heights album in eight years. The result is a work that pays homage to Devin’s past while also giving him the freedom to present his own vision on progressive electronic music.
"I'm deeply attached to the album but feel ready for it to take flight and move into its own space," says Devin. “It’s a moment of pause and peace above troubled waters.”
