Wellington singer-songwriter Lucid Effect is back out on tour, taking on the entire country in his debut National Tour. Armed only with a guitar, a loop pedal, and his voice, Lucid Effect uses live looping to create walls of sound that envelops the listener.
Following his successful North Island Tour in 2015 and release of sophomore EP I Came From A Dark Place, Lucid Effect has gone from strength to strength, including the release of single Gretchen Ross and opening for Flying Nun alumni Peter Jefferies early this year.
Lucid Effect is joined on his tour by New Plymouth-born Emily Riordan, a singer songwriter who embraces melancholy, singing wistful songs set to simple acoustic guitar. Her intimate, mellow sound draws from a background in classical music, and features a voice ranging from deep and dark to sweet and delicate.
Heading to Auckland, New Plymouth, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Wellington, Lucid
Effect's National Tour will bring Lucid Effect's distinctive acoustic sound to
audiences around the country. Tickets are available from http://www.undertheradar.co.nz/
