On October 17th at 8pm Jayson Norris will share his new EP Eroded with the world, live on Facebook.
Eroded is Jayson Norris' fourth studio recording and a 5 track collection inspired by songwriting legends such as Johnny Cash, Ben Harper, The Police and Radiohead.
Eroded showcases Jayson's more intimate side in an attempt to get back to his roots. These songs are mature, cleverly crafted offerings with beautiful flowing melodies and addictive choruses.
Of the album Norris says, “Eroded is all about a journey, an adventure. Sometimes it feels pointless and hopeless and you could give it all away to someone else. It's about yearning for that special moment and just when you think no one is listening or feeling what you're trying to say or do, there comes a glimmer of hope”.
Norris invites everyone from home and abroad to experience the album release collectively and simultaneously on October 17th at 8PM as he streams his live performance from his current base in London.
“With social media being such a powerful tool these days, there’s great opportunities to connect with a wider audience. With Facebook Live you can perform live to an audience as well as interact with them. I’m really excited to perform my EP for the first time to a global audience, plus, the EP, is being released digitally simultaneously. If people like what they hear they can go and purchase the EP straight away with a simple click.”
Produced by Norris, Eroded was recorded at Rangiputa Records studio in Essex, UK and at I am Giant Studios in London with Paul Matthews (I Am Giant) on engineering and mixing duties. Jayson’s musical talents have infiltrated the EP from vocals, piano, guitar to bass to strings and string arrangements.
Eroded will be available for purchase from iTunes, Bandcamp and all good digital service providers.
