Australian singer songwriters Liam Gerner and Josh Rennie-Hynes are set to fuel New Zealand's Alt-Country scenes desires when they head over the ditch to tour and release their brand new albums in October 2016.
Liam and Josh are currently touring their new solo records through Australia and the USA and will kick their NZ tour off in Auckland at SOUTHERN FORK AMERICANA FEST 2016 before they bring a host of new songs to their beloved kiwis at shows on both North and South islands.
Since the release of their debut albums, both Josh and Liam have both toured relentlessly throughout Australia, New Zealand and the USA.
Josh’s new album Furthermore was recorded in his personal studio, on his family farm in Woodford, Queensland. Rennie-Hynes produced, engineered and recorded the songs alongside his close friend, Steve Grady. Together, they played the bulk of the instruments. Josh says “Artistically, It was one of the most inspiring and fulfilling experiences of my life. It’s so peaceful at home on the Farm and I think that comes across on this album.”
Liam has been recorded his new album in Australia and the USA with drummer Jay Bellerose (Ray Lamontagne, Robert Plant), bass player Jenn Condos (Bruce Springsteen) Mark Goldenberg (Jackson Browne), Kasey Chambers and many wonderful Australian musicians, the first single will be Your Property.
Together, Josh & Liam are musical brothers that will grace ears across New Zealand this October.
