Steriogram continue to push their way into the psyche of the American record-buying populace with the announcement of the 2004 MTV Music Video awards, for which the lads are nominated for awards in four categories.

The nominations come on the back of the excellent 'Walkie Talkie Man' video, directed by Michel Gondry. The video was nominated for 'Best Direction', 'Best Special Effects', 'Best Art Direction' and 'Breakthrough Video'.

The lads are competing in those categories with the likes of The White Stripes, Franz Ferdinand, Modest Mouse, Jay-Z, Outkast and many more huger-than-huge mega-acts.
