Music News - After 'Ours release new single - Be Around

Following on from the success of their debut single See The Light, After ‘Ours are delighted to release another song Be Around, from their upcoming album Odyssey.
A declaration of love, Be Around channels the raw emotions in a relationship, full of the love and joy that comes from being surrounded by whanau and friends. Local musician Matt Nanai came on board writing the lyrics and bringing his vocals that perfectly encompass the hope and longing of the song. Michal Martyniuk, the pianist half of After ‘Ours, composed the tune and jumped at the opportunity to partner on the track with his old friend he had worked with in the past.
Mixed and produced by Nick Williams, the other half of the duo, and Mike Patto (UK), Be Around combines analog synths and tasty guitar lines to create a beautiful heartfelt song. Another glowing showcase of the positive, good vibes that After ‘Ours bring, the pair also have released a beautifully simple video that gives viewers a peek into the collaborative nature of the project.
Be Around is the second single from Odyssey, the debut album from After ‘Ours, which will be released on September 16th.
