Surprise! Today,
London-based New Zealanders, The
Eversons announce release details of their new
album, Stuck in
New Zealand, coming to you this November 18th on Lil Chief Records.
Stay tuned for October
14th, as the band releases their new single, Good at Making Enemieson all digital services. It will come with two
B-Sides: a Japanese language version of Good
at Making Enemies and a rock n' roll number called Sell It To Me that
would make Mick's lips quiver. The song, recorded and mixed from the
band's own living room, is a '90s indie rock shredder about having the kind of
personality some people just love to hate.
The
Eversons are four New Zealand dudes
living in London. Since 2010 they've been living together, making DIY records
at their flat, and touring the world. Their sound is eclectic and their new
record, Stuck in New
Zealand is full of in-your-face psychedelic indie rock
influenced by the likes of The Modern Lovers, Pulp, and Blur. They have a
bunch of different sounding records but as a live band they rock like The
Rolling Stones - they’re loud, in-your-face, and they rule.
The Eversons are: Mark Turner (lead
vocals, guitar, bass), Chris
Young (lead vocals, guitar), Blair Everson
(vocals, guitar, bass) & Tim
Shann (vocals, drums, bass).
