Ekko Park is proud to present a special one-off concert for Eat
My Lunch on Saturday 5th November 7.45pm at Eat My Lunch
headquarters, 5 Galatos Street, Auckland.
Eat My Lunch was set up with a mission to ensure no Kiwi kids go hungry at
school. For every lunch someone buys, they give a lunch
to a kid who would otherwise go without. Since starting in June 2015, they have
given over 260,000 lunches to kids in 35 low decile schools in Auckland and
Hamilton.
Joe Walsh, lead singer of Auckland rock band
Ekko Park, has been part of Eat My Lunch for over a year, helping to make
lunches for kids in need.
After making a music video for the Ekko Park single, Surface Breaks at the
home of Eat My Lunch, the band are now bringing their unique and energetic live
show to this special venue.
As with Eat My Lunch’s Buy One. Give One philosophy, for every concert ticket
sold, a lunch will be provided to a Kiwi kid in need.
Leveraging the other talents of the Eat My Lunch crew, Ekko Park are delighted
to be partnering with Judge Bao, run by Jamie, a chef at Eat My Lunch. Judge
Bao, a favourite on the Auckland street food scene, is a modern twist on
Chinese cuisine and every ticket holder will receive a complimentary Bao (steam
bun) on the night.
Limited tickets are available now from undertheradar.co.nz $25 ticket
includes Ekko Park concert, complimentary Judge Bao bun and a school lunch
provided to Kiwi kids.
