Upper Hutt’s longest reigning representative returns once again this time teaming up with fellow Upper Hutt compadre and reggae sensation Israel Starr with their latest offering Always Question?
This time Kapabal addresses a theme that has silently plagued the minds and hearts of the people for years; the all too familiar and in many cases overlooked themes of injustice, corruption, corporate greed, unjust laws and mischievous and unruly behaviour by systems and governments who’s best interests lie with that of large power driven corporations and heartless plutocrats and not with the people and its citizens.
With the help of Israel Starr recently awarded 'Best Roots Album' at the 2016 Waiata Maori Music Awards, Kapabal addresses the people warning them of the impending dangers in believing what is feed to us by non transparent governments and biased television, news and media coverage and gives us the suggestion that we should take possession of our own minds, and interests that we know are best for our families and ourselves, and Always Question!
