Congratulations to Johnny and the Robba - winner of Launchpad Round 2.

Johnny ran away to Australia when his girlfriend and debts got too much for him. He ended up on the streets after his possessions were stolen and he found another damn girl.

Johnny started rapping for money alongside homeless Aborigines. All the while the Robba was in Auckland composing beats and melodies. Johnny came home with an ambition to rhyme.

Johnny and the Robba are cousins. The Robba is the musician/singer/rapper. They also have a backing band. They have released an 8 track CD which got them an interview and airplay on bfm.

They plan to release "Damn Girl' as our first single.
