The brand new stage is set for Auckland’s biggest outdoor Christmas celebration, Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park, being held on Saturday night at the Auckland Domain.
The talent packed line-up includes Australasian singing sensation Stan Walker, honky-tonk songstress Tami Nielson, Vince Harder, Lavina Williams, Barry Conrad and Nyree Huyser, as well as a host of the nation’s most dynamic singers, dancers and musicians.
Brady Peeti will play Santa at the popular outdoor Christmas concert which will be presented from a brand new high tech stage, featuring a 66 metre arc of LED screens offering one of the widest panorama projections ever presented in New Zealand.
Chris Litchfield of Coca-Cola NZ says, “This year’s Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park is truly a world class production. From our very first concert 23 years ago, it’s grown to be an impressive showcase of outstanding Kiwi talent and a definite ‘don’t-miss’ event for hundreds of thousands of Kiwis.”
The free family event will be MC’d by MORE FM’s Jason Gunn and highlights from Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park will feature in a 60 minute special on TV2 at 6:00pm on Sunday 18 December.
Coca-Cola NZ is once again supporting Youthline and concert-goers are encouraged to purchase a light stick or make a donation to the Youthline volunteer collectors. In co-operation with the police and Auckland Council, this event is alcohol-free.
