In
less than two weeks, thousands will descend on ASB Baypark Stadium in Tauranga for the
hottest one-day festival this summer, Bay
Dreams.
Tickets to the January 2
extravaganza sold out weeks ago, but promoters have good news for those who
missed out – they’ve just released 3000 more tickets!
With an epic line-up featuring the best and biggest names in music, including
headlining heavyweights Shapeshifter,
dynamic dance duo Peking
Duk, psych-reggae rockers Sticky Fingers and hip-hop star Yelawolf, those
wanting to snap up these last minute tickets will need to get in quickly.
The extra tickets go on sale on Thursday

Only in its second year, Bay
Dreams has already established a reputation as one of the
must-attend events of early 2017. It will kick off with a warm-up party on January 1 with sets
from Example,
The Upbeats feat. MC
Tiki Taane,
Earth Tiger and Kings, with the party launching into full
gear on January 2.
Kora, Skream, Bizzy Bone, Katchafire, Kilter and Eats Everything are
just a few of the other well-known acts on the bill. And despite recent
headlines about Sticky
Fingers’ upcoming hiatus and several Yelawolf show
cancellations in 2016, promoters can confirm that both acts will perform as
planned.
With the festival site just minutes away from the famed Bay of Plenty beaches,
Mount Maunganui and Papamoa, Bay Dreams is one party you can’t miss.
