Live Nation is delighted to announce that Auckland post-punk
outfit Cut Off Your
Hands will support Pixies on all three New Zealand concert dates next month.
Fresh from a brilliant set at St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival and the release of
new singles Hate Somebody and Higher
Lows and Lower Highs, Cut Off Your Hands return has been greeted by
fans and media with enthusiasm.
It’s less than two weeks until Pixies return to New Zealand for the first time
in close to seven years. With a back catalogue that is second to none and
brilliant new album Head
Carrier out now, the shows promise an unforgettable night of
music.
Wrapping up a glowing review late last year, The Independent’s Remfry Dedman enthuses “As the song ends and the fog
begins to clear, it becomes apparent that the band have completely disappeared,
leaving a completely astounded and thrilled audience. In a little under two
hours, Pixies have raced through 33 songs with no fuss or fanfare, yet they’ve
still managed to captivate the entire room from front to back.”
