New Zealand born, Australian based band Logic Defies Logic are set to turn heads and challenge convention with their debut album, Magic & Science. With an indefinable sound that harks back to the future; Magic & Science will take the listener on a musical journey; touching on every influence the band has ever absorbed and resulting in a unique sonic experience.
The album was produced by guitarist Ollie Wright at Backline Studio’s in Melbourne, mixed at World Class Audio in California, USA by Shawn Sullivan (The Mars Volta, Bleeding Through) and mastered by Tony "Jack The Bear" Mantz (Airbourne, Jet), who has described the album as "having more hooks than a tackle-box!’. Logic Defies Logic are now set to bring their high intensity live show to NZ and Australia with the Magic & Science tour. After debuting the new material during support slots with Kiwi legends HLAH and American heavy-weights RIVAL SONS, the foursome are chomping at the bit to get back to the live setting in which they thrive. From the full metal swing and groove of Demolitia, to the skanking soul-funk of Hollywood, Magic & Science is an all killer, no filler kind of album… packed full of riffs, choruses and that extra Logic Defies Logic sizzle.
A band not lacking one single iota of musical integrity, Logic Defies Logic are a force of nature. A sonic anomaly. The perfect storm of magic and science.
