Kiwi
singer
Sacha Veehas revealed the highly-anticipated official video that accompanies her soulful
anthem
Feels Good.
With a sultry neo soul-meets-old school hip-hop vibe,
Feels Good features
on Vee’s
recently-released full-length album,
Luminous.
Produced by Dutch legend I.N.T,
the track debuted on Flava radio late last year and went on to become a firm
favourite on summer playlists.
Now, Veegives fans an insight into the magic of making the song, with a video shot both
in New Zealand (where she is now based) and the Netherlands, where I.N.T calls home. “We
wanted to create a video which showed us writing the track as we did, from two
different sides of the world,” says Vee.
Made with support fromNZ On Air, and produced by Auckland’s Mariano Segedin, the
video skillfully captures the reality of making music today. It shows footage
of Veein a warm and sunny Auckland and hard at work in the studio, while 17,000
kilometres away in a cold and dark Amsterdam, I.N.T toils away adding his touches to
the track.
Veereturned home to New Zealand in 2016 after making her mark in Europe. While in
Amsterdam, she collaborated with producers Killing Skills and Chef Red and released
two EPs with BBE Records,
Rising One (2015) and
Ging Remix EP (2016).
Her collaboration with Polish hip-hop luminary O.S.T.R. produced three hit singles, two
x double platinum albums and more than 20 million views on YouTube. The album,
Życie Po Śmierci, Vee made with O.S.T.R. was awarded
“hip hop album of the year” (Fryderyki 2017, Poland).
