Dead Favours are set to release their highly
anticipated sophomore single
High Flying.
Produced by
Shihad’s Tom Larkin at his Melbourne studio and
funded by New Zealand on Air,
High Flying is the follow up to the
band’s debut single
Dig which was met with overwhelming public
support, spending an impressive 22 weeks (and counting) on the
Radioscope Rock Chart.
Dead Favours have just completed their first national tour alongside
other rock radio favourites
Decades,
Skinny Hobos and Bakers
Eddy with a staggeringly positive reaction from crowds.
“The tour was such a great experience for the us. We’ve learned
new things about playing and working together and its made us
hungry to get back in the studio and record some new material for
next year”.
The band are set to appear at the
Auckland City Rock fest at The
Kings Arms on August 19th after which they are set for a handful
of local shows before cracking into high profile shows and festival
appearances in the new year.
