Music News - 2017 Battle Of The Bands Winners Pale Lady Release First Single
19 February 2018 - 0 Comments
After recently taking out the top spot in the NZ Battle of the Bands National Final, Wellington based rock band
Pale Lady have announced the release of their first single
Empty Space. The song will be available on all platforms on February 23rd.
Founded in late 2016, Pale Lady consists of four rock fanatics who found themselves in the same music degree. Since then, it has been non stop writing and gigging to bring something new to Rock n Roll. Their music is diverse, with influences both from old school classics and modern rock.
Empty Space was written while the band was on a busking tour of New Zealand- energetically performing rock music to unsuspecting ears. A video recapping the journey is currently on their social media.
Shortly after the digital release,
on the 1st of March, there will be a release party at Meow in Wellington city. Supporting them will be
Nation, a Soul Pop Funk band, and fellow rockers Egovalve. For the remainder of 2018, Pale Lady will be recording music videos for upcoming singles, going to Europe for a series of shows (as part of the prize for winning Battle Of The Bands), and working towards a full length album.
