The Cuban Brothers are returning to Aotearoa after tearing it up at Splore and at San Fran, Wellington, at their last excursion in 2016. These frequent visitors to our shores will be changing it up a bit this time with an extended visit and a full six date headline tour including the hinterland and smaller supportive music venues to celebrate twenty years as the Cuban Brothers. They'll be kickin' it off on March 22nd at Mount Maunganui before taking off on Easter Monday April 2nd in Auckland .
An unstoppable, infectious force of nature, The Cuban Brothers’ unrivaled funk and soul review blends sexy, soulful music with jaw-dropping b-boy action and riotous comedy.
Despite much inappropriate touching, the band’s delirious rhythms, lightning wit, and gentle ribbing of world famous artists has seen them personally chosen to play by Elton John, Robbie Williams and Richard Branson. Off stage, their acclaimed debut album, Yo Bonita!, which took the skittish dynamics of their live show into the studio, and many TV & film appearances, including Mike acting in Ill Manors, have kept Los Hermanos ‘on the box’, so to speak.
