Blasting to our shores in May, American Metal heavyweights, Revocation is set to bring some of the most potent, technical and abrasive metal to have been unleashed over the last decade. And while the band may have replaced members over the years, Revocation still deliver like never before. This can be heard in their more recent album Great Is Our Sin which is praised as their most dynamic, boundary-pushing and weighty release to date.
Playing a style of aggressive, raw death metal reminiscent of the genre's pioneers with a modern technical twist, Scorn of Creation bring an energetic and raw live show, creating mosh pits like you haven't seen in years. Their self-titled album debuted at number 3 on the NZ Album top 20 charts (a record first for an extreme metal band in New Zealand)
Combining elements of death metal, grindcore and mathcore, Christchurch based Blindfolded and Led To The Woods have been tearing up stages across New Zealand with their frantic live shows for the last seven years. 2017 and was a huge year for them with the release of their sophomore album, Modern Adoxography, and playing sold out shows with The Dillinger Escape Plan.
