Heading out across New Zealand following the release of a six-track EP that has spawned the hits ‘Don’t Give It Up’, ‘Closer’ and Rivers’, and a slew of European tour dates, this weekend’s concert will see Six60 play to 40,000 fans across eight New Zealand dates this year.
Promoter Dave Munro from Eccles Entertainment says “Six60 go from strength to strength, and selling out Toll stadium is testament to the fact that this band continues to capture the hearts of old fans and garner new fans en masse. We are blown away by this result, Saturday’s show will go down in the history books. Whatever Six60 decide to next Summer in New Zealand, this should encourage fans that have missed out not to wait to buy tickets. These guys know how to sell out venues!”
The band will then go on to support Ed Sheeran for three concerts in their hometown Dunedin the following weekend.
