Iconoclastic purveyors of drone-laden psychedelia, The Brian Jonestown Massacre will make their long-awaited return to New Zealand shores in June, 2018 with their brand-new record Something Else.

Fronted by prolific outlier Anton Newcombe, The Brian Jonestown Massacre have ploughed their own fertile furrow in the field of neo-psychedelia, yielding an impressive harvest of fifteen acclaimed studio albums across twenty eight years, including the brand new long player Something Else, which returns to the classic swirling retro-hued guitars, washed over droning and hypnotic rhythms, and of course Newcombe’s trademark edifying and biting social commentary.

Through electrifying live shows, and nourished by a remarkable flow of exciting new recorded music the Brian Jonestown Massacre have grown a loyal fan base in New Zealand. BJM fans know that each time they strap in for another journey with the band, be it on record, or in mortal flesh, they are in for one hell of a trip.
