After a brief stint in the studio over the summer Tempist Fujit have released their second single Dayne's Song.
The single is a dedication to the story of the bands nephew and cousin Dayne McCallum, who on January 14, 2005, was severely burnt in a backyard accident. A then 13-year-old Dayne was hanging out with a group of friends at his neighbours when one of the group threw a bucket of petrol on to a fire and Dayne was caught in the 'backflash' and was severely burned and rushed to hospital, where he would spend the next four months. He showed incredible strength and adversity while recovering from 3rd degree burns to his face, hands and body, this was what inspired the band to write a heartfelt track about Dayne and his journey. Dayne is a true warrior and has overcome all challenges put in front of him to continue living a life of love, happiness and prosperity.
Tempist Fujit is a hard-hitting 4 piece rock outfit, from Northland, and is a must see for lovers of great music and live performance. Dayne is featured in the music video out now on online platforms YouTube and Tempist Fujit’s Facebook page. Keep an eye out for their North Island Tour coming soon.
