alt-rock duo Skinny Hobos will take the stage at Spark Arena for the first time next Tuesday night to
open for Scottish rock legends Biffy Clyro.
Fresh from an energetic set at Homegrown and a slot at Storm The Gates plus the
release of their first single of 2018 Jacked Like the Ripper, Skinny
Hobos are gig fit and ready to continue their tradition of big riffs and big
drums and making far more noise than any two people should - which makes them
the perfect choice to support Biffy Clyro next week.
"We are unbelievably stoked to be able to share this
legendary stage with such an incredible band,” says guitarist and vocalist Alex
Elvis.
“I've seen some of my all-time favourite musicians grace that
stage - Black Sabbath, Radiohead, Robert Plant, the list goes on. Now I get to
be up there, and somehow all I can think of is how absolutely monstrous my
guitar is going to sound through that PA system!"
Final tickets for the all-ages show are available now via livenation.co.nz.
