Music News - Alizarin Lizard release second new single - No One Could Tell

Since their 2013 album Do You Just Want Me To Watch You? Alizarin Lizard have been fairly invisible, only turning up randomly to play boutique festivals and private parties. However, with the appearance of these new singles, it seems they have not been completely stagnant.
The bones of No One Could Tell were recorded in Bugs' lounge, and as a result, you can hear various background kitchen noises and chatter throughout. This adds to the lyrical ideas of a crowded place where everything is happening all the time, and there is no escape. When asked about his lyrics, Paul Cathro replied; "It's about how we all have to live in our minds and accepting that even though it's a big place, it has very little room. A finite universe within the universe".
No One Could Tell sees Alizarin Lizard expand their instrumental depth, with the addition of vibraphone - played by Logan Hampton, and trombone - played by Chris Miller. You will also hear their usual array of keyboard sounds, guitars for days, bass, drums, oddball percussion section, and the one-thousand-voiced PC choir.
While your ears are immersed in the song, let your eyes wander through the vibrant world of colours and patterns that Sam Caldwell has created in his photographic artwork. Sam Caldwell is a long-time collaborator and all-round good guy.
