Auckland based indie rock band Mecuzine are pleased to announce the release of their debut single Don't Fire That Gun from their forthcoming album Cutting Strings - due out 13 July 2018.
Don’t
Fire That Gun possesses a driving
backbeat, thumping piano and escalating, intense guitars, and tells the story
of how in this day and age, some of us can turn to revenge when pushed too
far; a downward spiral of negative thoughts culminating in breaking
point.
Don’t Fire That Gun and
the forthcoming album were recorded at Silverpoint Studios, Auckland and
mastered in Nashville, engineered by Kane
Bennett. and co-produced by Kane Bennett and Mecuzine.
Mecuzineplay with attitude, honesty and raw, unrelenting energy.
Decades of performing, touring and recording nationally and abroad makes these
five musicians a formidable combo - each with their own story to tell from
their time with various bands including Hello
Sailor, National Anthem, The Cure, Shade, Child and First Base to name
a few.
