The
announcement of Six60’s
one and only concert this summer, at Western Springs Stadium Auckland, was
greeted with a frenzy of excitement with the pre-sale allocation of 13,500
selling out in less than five hours yesterday.
General public tickets for the concert featuring the line-up of Six60 with Drax Project, Sons Of Zion, SWIDT and IllBaz are set
to go on sale at midday tomorrow (Friday 6 July).
Promoter Brent Eccles said “We knew this would be a big one but even we were
stunned by the phenomenal demand from fans. Six60 may well have set New
Zealand music history in a few hours.”
"Don’t miss out on Friday and we’re stressing to only buy from the
official ticket seller, Ticketmaster, to avoid being stung by resale sites.
“Do not purchase tickets through Viagogo, Ticketmaster Resale or any other
resale site. When you are purchasing your ticket, triple check you are on the
correct website to guarantee entry to this history making event. Don’t buy
tickets at inflated prices and don’t believe the concert is sold out unless
you’re advised by a media release or on the official Facebook event.
“Here’s to a massive gig.”
