songs, disco, rock, and even gospel.
Humperdinck -
who is now in his 80's - emerged on the music scene in the 60's with The Beatles
and the Rolling Stones. He became great friends with Elvis Presley and the two
legends often performed each other’s songs. His first single in the charts
was
Release Me,
which went into the Guinness Book of Records for achieving 56 consecutive weeks
on the charts. It was No. 1 in 11 countries.
The following decades saw Humperdinck touring
the world to sell-out crowds. And even today, the legend still takes great
pleasure in every moment on stage.
Humperdinck’s‘The Man I Want To Be Tour’
takes its name from his latest album released last year, which marked his 50th
anniversary in the music industry and also served as love letter to his wife
Patricia of 53 years who is suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease. The album,
which is made up of original tracks and covers of contemporary songs,
including Ed
Sheeran’s
Photograph and Bruno Mars’
Just the Way You Are has
received rave reviews.
Do not miss your chance to
see one of the music’s greatest living legends live and performing 50 years of
hits.
