Having temporarily moved to the Netherlands earlier in 2018, Wellington native Graeme James today announces his first ever North American tour and the release of a brand new single, The Times Are Changing.
Featuring Graeme’s trademark punchy mandolin over a driving rhythm section, Graeme James’ brand new track is an upbeat singalong inducing ode to the rapidly changing world around us.
Of the tune Graeme states: "The Times Are Changing was inspired by faded aerial photograph from the 1960’s I found while on holiday. The lyrics are an attempt to capture the bittersweet emotion you feel when you look back and reflect on the changes both in and around you. It’s knowing that nothing will ever be the same, while realising that this fact is the very thing that makes the present both meaningful and exciting."
With a new LP in the works and over 15 million streams online for his current catalogue, Graeme is excited to be releasing the new single and embarking on a 34 date tour of North America.
Known for his high energy performance featuring a loop pedal and layers of many varied instruments, The Times Are ChangingNorth American tour will allow fans the opportunity to see his exciting one man show for the first time.
