Attendees at this year’s Taste of Auckland presented by Electrolux will enjoy some of the country’s biggest music acts as they wine and dine, with artists including Tami Neilson, Barnaby Weir & Friendsand Hollie Smith – DUO now added to the festival line-up.
Celebrating its tenth birthday, the annual celebration of the country’s best food and drink is this year moving to Auckland’s waterfront, the whole of Queen’s Wharf coming alive over four delicious days and nights in November.
A food lover’s paradise, the mouthwatering line-up includes ten top Auckland restaurants who will pay homage to the new waterfront venue with a focus on sustainable seafood, more than 120 artisanal food and drink producers, pop-up bars, chef demonstrations, intimate cooking experiences and other fun festival activities.
Newly announced, top local acts Tami Neilson, Hollie Smith - DUO, Barnaby Weir & Friends, Sola Rosa Sound System, Hopetoun Brown, Laughton Kora and Omega Levine have now been added to the festival bill and will perform against the stunning backdrop of the Waitemata Harbour.
Opening on the Thursday night are hip hop soul duo Hopetoun Brown complete with full six piece band, followed by Sola Rosa Sound System and Omega Levine on the Friday night, Barnaby Weir & Friends on the Saturday afternoon, country songstress Tami Neilson hot off the back of her sold out show at the Auckland Town Hall on the Saturday night, and Laughton Koraand Hollie Smith - DUO performing with her stripped back duo on the Sunday afternoon.
Representing great value for money, early bird tickets for single sessions start at just $25 for GA and $89 for VIP. To catch multiple acts across multiple sessions, there’s also a newly created ‘multi day’ pass offering exceptional value at just $120. Attendees coming from out of town can also access ticket packages via their local YOU Travel office.
Early bird prices finish 16 September and limited numbers mean some sessions and passes will sell out, so get your tickets early to avoid disappoint.
