About the song
Tomorrow At My Fingertips is the first single release from Gearloose.
It’s all about the end of a relationship, and the uncertainty and anxiety over what the hell’s going to happen next. The song was written, recorded, produced, and mixed by Steve King in his home studio, the final mix and master of the song was done by Kris Muir of The Helpful Studio.
The song will be offered to local NZ radio stations first, then released on Spotify and Bandcamp.
About the artist
Gearloose is the one-man indie-pop band of Steve King from Christchurch, New Zealand. Adopting the band name Gearloose because Stephen King is already a very famous author’s name.
Steve has been writing songs since a teenager and playing in various bands, but went out on his own in 2007 and has been performing as Gearloose around NZ and the rest of the world since then, evolving from a simple guy with an acoustic guitar, to still a simple guy, but with the full band sound achieved through synthesisers, loop pedals, and other fun stuff..
There have been a few digital releases from Gearloose previously; (can be heard on Bandcamp) but Tomorrow At My Fingertips is the first attempt at a proper single release ahead of the release of a full album, album release date TBD.
