Ghost Who Walks share
their brand-new track
Walking
Talking Blues from their upcoming self-titled debut
EP, which is due for physical and digital release on September 21st, 2018released independently via DRM.
In classic Ghost Who Walks style,
Walking Talking Blues, really showcases the
bands musical diversity. Lyrically it is a tip of the hat to blues songs of
old. With a groove inspired by afro-funk, staccato rock chorus, psychedelic
blues solo, topped by soulful vocals. It explores many dimensions like a magic
carpet ride, with dream like qualities. Produced by front man and creative
driving force Sam
Fowles and recorded and engineered at Surgery Studios by Lee Prebble. (
The
Black Seeds, TrinityRoots,
Fly My Pretties),
Walking Talking Blues is the
second single off the Wellington four piece debut EP following
Vertigo.
"When I wrote Walking
Talking Blues I drew on my experiences of love and loss and was thinking a lot
about our direction in life. ‘Now I’m walking, heading in a new
direction’" says frontman Sam Fowles.
“so groovy and funk driven, you
can’t help but get a little boogie on” - Muzic.net.nz

energetic offering, 'Vertigo' soars
this Wellington group to new heights and offers an exciting glimpse into the
