West Auckland based band Animalhead are releasing their second single Rabbit Hole today, October 5, and they are amping.
It's been a year since the first single The Devil Told me So was released, and its about time they gave us a new heavy riff to get stuck in our heads!
The song Rabbit Hole tackles some heavy current events with youth depression and suicide within New Zealand so it's a song we can all relate to, in a way.
The song focuses more on the positive aspects of reaching out for help and battling it head on with the help of your mates.
This unorthodox band has mixed up the recording process yet again by fusing a live recording at The Lab Recording Studio with a mix from the legend himself Zorran
Mendonsa, then topping it off with a master from Australian based muso Forrester Savelle, who worked on Shihad’s FVEY album. What a Brew!
After some heavy touring in 2018 along side old time buddies Skinny Hobos and Coridian, the lads have been hitting the underground scene and focusing more on perfecting their energy fuelled live shows. Be sure to check them out this Halloween at Auckland’s Ding Dong Bar with their brothers Mudshark, Fallstate and Crooked Royals.
Rabbit Hole is due for release October 5th 2018 via all free media streaming sites thanks to NZ’s own DRM.
