Music News - Back2Basics Hits the Streets

23 August 2005 - 0 Comments

Back in June Satellite Media and Dawn Raid came together to take over New Zealand’s only Hip Hop magazine, Back2Basics. Since then we have been working on putting together our re-launch issue and we know you’ll be impressed.

"I'm really happy with our re-launch issue" says editor DJ Sir-Vere, "with the stories we have gathered from our correspondents all over the country, we are now the definitive source for all things Hip Hop in New Zealand."

The new issue features Che Fu on the eve of his new album release. In his most in depth and honest interview ever, he talks about Supergroove, Bob Marley and much more. Plus Tony Yayo - we speak to G-Unit's most controversial member is the 'Talk of New York'

Interviews with Akon, Alphrisk and Pras of the Fugees plus B-Boy/B-Girl, Grafitti, DJ, Fashion, Shoes, Games, DVD, Movie pages and much more

Launching with a party tomorrow night at the Transmission Room in Auckland and featuring a stellar line of New Zealand’s Hip Hop stars the magazine is off to a great start.

Back2Basics hits the streets on Monday (29th August) and can be found where all good magazines are sold.
