Christchurch based musician Craig Payne's new album will be released on April 1st this year, but it's no joke.
It is a solid set of 13 original songs weighing in at exactly 50 minutes with each song a diverse and original journey through time and space guaranteed to draw the audience into what is a unique and well crafted album.
The Classic Rock of Tomorrow is definitely being created by Craig Payne in 2019 with a solid 60's groove right through the final mix of what is an incredibly 'Beatle-esque' sound both vocally and musically...
The smooth and unmistakable Hofner Beatle bass sound laid squarely beneath a tapestry of crisp vocal harmonies, clean guitar riffs and solos takes you right back to the streets of Liverpool, the boutiques of Carnaby Street where a 'magical musical tour' has again found life in this new and original incarnation...
A single from the album will precede the album release on March 24th and a 'pr-release' independent album review will follow on March 25th...
