Music News - Titirangi Festival of Music line-up announced, with Sola Rosa joining Bic Runga and Cha Wa as headliners across three nights

Titirangi Festival of Music unveils another stunning line-up for its 2019 music programme, announced today. Alongside 2019 Grammy nominees Cha Wa (New Orleans) and musical icon Bic Runga, the festival has added the full seven-piece magic of Sola Rosa as Friday night headliners.
Celebrating its thirteenth year on 28-30 March, the Titirangi Festival of Music programme is centred around three nights of ticketed events at the Festival Ballroom inside the Titirangi War Memorial Hall. A packed schedule of free community events running at the Festival Hub (outside the Memorial Hall) and around the village, including the Friday night Local Explosion at the Festival Hub, featuring free live music including a set by local music visionary SJD.
Community run, non-profit and independent, Titirangi Festival of Music is a West Auckland treasure, and has established itself as a not-to-be missed event on the Auckland arts calendar.
“What makes this event so special and different is its wide-ranging, inclusive nature,” says Founder and Festival Director David Parker.
"It is a real celebration of music and community drawing together an eclectic programme of musical expressions. With something to satisfy most tastes, delivered in a professional way, the festival punches above its weight with the assistance of community funding and local business sponsorship.
