World Battle of the Bands NZ Finalists announced!

After over nine weeks of heats, semi finals and regional finals, the World Battle of the Bands, in association with Woodstock and C4 Water, has found artists from around the country to compete at this years national final.

The following bands will be competing for a range of prizes including gear from the Rockshop and clothing from Illicit clothing range. One band will be chosen to represent New Zealand at the World Finals in Hong Kong on the 26th of November.

The NZ finals will be held on Friday the 7th of October at Galatos in Auckland.

The finalists are:

- Auckland, Central - The Twitch
- Auckland, West - Remains Of A Day
- Auckland, East - International Flannel
- Auckland, North - Epitome
- Auckland, South - Vital Clue
- Waikato/Bay of Plenty - Slipping Tongue
- Taranaki/Manawatu/Hawkes Bay - Agent
- Wellington - Assorted Sweets
- Canterbury/Marlborough - Neavus
- Otago/Southland - Six Gun Lover
