Following two mighty Mash Ups last year, the first Family Fun Day Mash Up of 2019 is about to be unleashed.
The Mash Up is heading to the Te Atatu Peninsula Community Centre on Saturday April 27th – lock it in, it’s going to be huge!
This is not just an All Ages event – it’s an Any Ages event. With entertainment for both kids and adults, plus lashings of food and fun, this will be the biggest Family Fun Day Mash Up we’ve had so far.
Breaking news: We've just had word that Captain Festus McBoyle's song The Little Things has made it into the finals of the International Songwriting Competition in the Children's Music category.
They say, "With almost 19,000 entrants, only 2% of all entrants have been selected as finalists." Judges include Tom Waits, Nancy Wilson (Heart), Portugal the Man, Rakim, Seymour Stein, Dara Frank (Comedy Central), Jo Carrington (Capitol Music Group), and many more songwriting and industry professionals. Winners will be announced in April.
The Te Atatu Peninsula Family Fun Day Mash Up Entertainers are:
Captain Festus McBoyle’s Travellin’ Variety Show
Surrey Boudit: Full 8-piece ska/reggae/rocksteady band
Kapa haka performances from local schools
