Frontier Touring are pleased to announce Why Don’t We will make their first trip ever to New Zealand this spring, performing a headline show at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Friday 29 November. Yesterday the band also announced a new standalone single called Come To Brazil – listen to it here.

With the band’s previous Sydney and Melbourne shows selling out in minutes, this is the tour New Zealand fans have been waiting for! Why Don’t We’s North American and European 8 Letters Tour dates have also been snapped up instantly… be sure to sign up for the Frontier Members Pre-sale here to get first access to tickets before they go on sale to the general public on Tuesday 9 July.

ABOUT WHY DON’T WE:
Formed in September 2016 and signed to Atlantic Records, Why Don’t We is Daniel Seavey, Zach Herron, Corbyn Besson, Jonah Marais, and Jack Avery. Between them, the band can play 25 instruments and possess the sort of pop nous that has seen the prolific hitmakers smash charts and radio play worldwide.

In their first 12 months, Why Don’t We made their introduction with three EPs: Only The Beginning, Something Different, and Why Don't We Just. The latter hit #1 on US iTunes’ Pop Albums chart, ahead of Bruno Mars, Harry Styles, and Ed Sheeran.

Next up came the Invitation EP, celebrating the band’s one-year anniversary and topping iTunes’ ‘Overall Albums’ chart in six countries.

Ed Sheeran lent his talents to the massive Trust Fund Baby, mixed by British hitmaker Steve Mac, while single Hooked shot to #3 on the US iTunes’ Overall Songs charts, ahead of Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, and Ariana Grande. Plus there was the massive Something Different.

In August 2018 – following the band’s first dates in Australia with Frontier Touring – Why Don’t We unveiled their smash debut album 8 Letters (out now via Warner Music New Zealand). It immediately hit #1 on iTunes in the USA and 20 other countries. That record saw the band release huge videos including the title track 8 Letters, as well as the epic Talk.

Recent huge singles include 2019’s Unbelievable, Cold In LA, Big Plans, These Girls and the Macklemore-guesting I Don’t Belong In This Club (the video is a must-watch!).

With media champions in the likes of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Rolling Stone, The Late Show With James Corden, Teen Vogue, Today, MTV’s TRL, Good Morning America + more, Why Don’t We are absolutely smashing it.
