Following up from their Self-titled EP, The RVMES have meticulously crafted the next exciting single to add to their arsenal, set for release on the 31st of August 2019.
Callin’ My Name combines the tastes of soul, funk and reggae in it’s chorus, boiling it down to a fat, tasty and solid groove that keeps on giving. The verses on the other hand, deliver a beautiful lift in energy with a driving drum beat and rhythmic feel from the vocals and guitars.
And don’t forget the middle section break that’s absolutely overflowing with energy. Starting off with a lone percussive rhythm guitar, it quickly slaps you in the face with bongos, dual guitars, shakers, bass, high energy drums and keys that almost give off a Latin feel.
Callin’ My Name was recorded in one smooth session at Parachute Music in Kingsland, Auckland with the legendary Daniel Martin, manning the faders as engineer, while also taking the wheel with the mixing and mastering. Callin’ My Name is The RVMES’ highest quality piece yet, so make sure you get a taste of it as soon as possible.
