Fresh from being hunkered down in the studio over Winter, Those Lethals are embarking on a Spring tour to promote the first single from
their upcoming sophomore EP. Sounding like the lovechild of Fleetwood Mac
and Tame Impala Thrill of the Hunt is a song that is equal parts catchy indie-pop
and dreamscapey doom.
Their live shows bring lush dynamic shifts as they switch it up between big
hooks and melancholic electric sweetness. Evolving from their earlier sound off
their 2018 EP and accompanying tour, the band’s folk roots ground the new songs
full of storytelling and wry social commentary. Swirling guitar noise, dreamy
keys, driving basslines, and bittersweet vocals round out their new art-rock
vibe.
On the Spring Tour, they will be heading from the top to the bottom of the
North Island and are joined by stellar acts such as Round Buddah, Hot Knives,
The Backchat, Ash Laforteza, O & The Mo, Androgynous Lemon, and
Rubita.
