Kaela releases sassy new single 'I'm Doing Fine'

19 September 2019 - 0 Comments

Riding the success of her previous single Set Me Free, Auckland based indie-pop artist Kaela, AKA Leah Navanua is thrilled to release her second official single to date, I’m Doing Fine.

Following the narrative of a young woman post-heartbreak, I'm Doing Fine is an upbeat, sass-fuelled breakup song. Combining her smooth, soulful vocals with a punchy pop arrangement, I’m Doing Fine is sure to hit home for listeners.

Written from personal experience, this single is for anyone struggling with the loss of love. It is saying openly yes, things are going to be ok, but it still hurts. While the verses and bridge explore the transgressions and pain within the relationship for which both parties are responsible, the chorus takes this pain and turns it into a spirited, bold pop offering.

Co-written and produced by local talent Christo Karadjov, also known as Christo, I’m Doing Fine was mastered by Chris Chetland from Kog Studios and is featuring now on NZ On Air’s September New Tracks playlist.
