Sol3 Mio will gather in Auckland on Saturday 21 December for ‘A Sol3 Mio Christmas’, a one-off show at The Civic featuring Christmas carols and a selection of favourites from the trio’s repertoire.
Since their sold out Sol3 Mio: Back to Basics tours earlier this year, Pene Pati, Amitai Pati and Moses Mackay have been travelling the world focusing on their individual pursuits, but they’ve arranged their calendars to be able to be in one place for this special festive concert.
“We loved playing stripped back shows all over New Zealand this year and we’ve decided to wrap it all up with a special hometown concert at The Civic just before Christmas that will be in the same vein - our voices, a piano, lots of jokes and stories and a couple of very special guests,” said Pene Pati.
“Before anyone asks, we can’t take the show anywhere else, I’m only going to be in the country for a few days before I head back overseas to sing opera!”
This is Sol3 Mio’s first Christmas show in two years, and the only chance to see the group together on stage for some time, with their 2020 schedules booking up quickly.
Tickets for this memorable Christmas show go on sale at midday on Wednesday 30 October at Ticketmaster. VIP upgrades including soundcheck access and a photo opportunity will also be available.
