The sun has set on yet another successful St. Jerome’s Laneway Auckland!
A near capacity crowd of over 12,000 happy music fans descended on Albert Park to witness stunning sets from the best rising local and international talent.
Throughout the day and across the stages, joyful highlights were in abundance.
Kaiit thrilled her fans with her funk-drenched tunes, Omar Apollo continued to capture hearts, and Masters of Mayhem The Chats, had the audience eating out of their hands.
Eleven7Four’s high-energy set was fun personified and a standout afternoon performance from Benee saw her deliver a huge set to a massive crowd, creating yet another legendary Laneway moment!
Later in the evening, a captivating Marlon Williams enchanted his adoring crowd, Charli XCX commanded the jam-packed Rotunda Stage with her arresting presence, and The 1975 once-again proved their pop-brilliance as they brought the night to a rapturous end.
Laneway Auckland 2020 fans can pat themselves on the back for being the best behaved crowd in recent memory, with fans making good use of the free water stations to keep hydrated throughout the day, and friends making sure to selflessly look after one another.
Festival Director, Julian Carswell adds "We were blessed with one of the most pleasant Laneway audiences in our 11 year history - their loyalty through line-up changes and the crowds vibe in general was next level. We want to thank all of our artists and can't wait to see you all in 2021."
Another terrific day was had by all, thanks Auckland!
