Alex Ferrer is a DJ and producer, who has become one of Spain’s finest exports in House Music. He is also the label manager of Deeplomatic Recordings, a House Music record label that releases music from artists such as Robert Babicz, Ninetoes, Funk D´Void, Einmusik and DJ W!LD, just to name a few.
His credentials include a list of worldwide tours in renowned clubs as Space (Ibiza), Kater Blau (Berlin), The Block (Tel Aviv), Revolver Upstairs (AU), Gazgolder (RU) or Ministry of Sound (London) and festivals like Burning Man (US), Afrikaburn (SA), Midburn (IL) or Piknic Electronik Melbourne (AU) just to name a few.
His music has been remixed by artists like Jay Haze (BPitch Control/Fabric), Luna City Express (Moon Harbour), Tony Lionni (Freerange), Moodymanc (2020 Vision), Miguel Puente (Diynamic/No.19), Agent! (Cocoon/Get Physical), or Horatio among others.
The Spanish House legend, has played in more than 45 countries worldwide. with this year’s tour including venues like Livin´ in Seoul (South Korea), Aurora in Beijing (China) or Joule in Osaka (Japan), just to name a few.
His latest release EP Jungle Fever (27/09) includes remixes from artists like Norman Weber (Luna City Express / Moon Harbour) and Agent! (Cocoon / Get Physical / Suara) and he has created a track for DPL 100, a compilation album celebrating that his record label is a 100 EP’s old (08/11), the release has some of the best artist in the industry in it, and is currently ranking high in the charts.
On February 22nd he will be playing in New Zealand for the first time, and we would love to invite you to attend the event at La Mexica on the Strand.
