Taranaki Entertainment Charitable Trust is a non-profit organization bringing people together for a festival to celebrate groovy music whilst supporting local community groups and businesses. The Taranaki Entertainment Charitable Trust Committee Volunteers have been working hard to make this dream a reality and we are excited to share it with everyone.
New Plymouth, Taranaki (Saturday 11th April) - Taranaki Groove Festival today announces the launch of the first season of a premier music event in New Plymouth. This Annual R18 Festival will feature a stellar line-up of some of today’s and tomorrow’s top artists, across two stages with top of the line foo and beverage vendors to match.
These stars include Ardijah, Billy TK Jnr, Out The Gate Caleb Haapu (Sons Of Zion), The Brian Hatcher Band, Ire Exit, Selah Saints, The Deadbeat Dads, Rizki & The Vagancy, The Sunnylaw Social Club, Kessel, Ms Alignment and Tenaya Richardson.

Today we would like to issue the following statement regarding the cancellation of our Taranaki Groove Festival 2020. Taranaki Entertainment Charitable Trust regret to advise that under the New Zealand Government-COVID19 directive to respect all public gatherings of more than 500 from 16/03/20 The 2020 Festival will be cancelled on Saturday 11th April, we have informed all the artists to reschedule for Easter weekend 2021.
We as a trust have received an enormous amount of support and we would like to thank you all for the role you have played in bring this all together. We appreciate each and every one of you from behind the scenes volunteers to festival goers from across the country and look forward to a fantastic Taranaki Groove Festival 2021.
